On January 15, 2026, while on patrol, Deputy J. Reynolds observed a male subject walking on the wrong side of the roadway. After conducting a pedestrian stop, Deputy Reynolds identified the individual as 19-year-old Anthony Gibbons of La Vernia. Further investigation revealed that Gibbons had an active warrant out of Wilson County for Sexual Assault of a Child, a second degree felony.
